Settlement Payment Details
- Base Payment: Eligible customers will receive a flat payment of $15.
- Monthly Service Bonus: Customers can also get $1 per month for each month they were charged the disputed fees, up to a maximum of $85.
- Total Compensation: The total payout for each eligible individual is capped at $100.
The payment amount depends on how long the administrative fees were charged and how many valid claims are submitted.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the settlement, you must have:
- Been a Verizon customer with a postpaid wireless or data plan from January 1, 2016, to November 8, 2023.
- Been charged the disputed administrative fees during that time.
Settlement Payment Dates
Once the settlement is approved, Verizon will begin issuing payments in early January 2025. These payments will be made either via check or electronic transfer. Any unclaimed funds will be handled according to state regulations.
